THE RESORT
Calis (pronounced Chalish) is a small beach resort with views (and spectacular sunsets) across Fethiye Bay to Sovalye Island.

Restaurants and terrace bars line the beach road, which is closed to traffic during the summer, and there are local shops just a few minutes walk away.

The two mile beach is of coarse sand and shingle. Activities include windsurfing, waterskiing and scuba diving.

Dolmus boats (water taxis) link Calis to Fethiye and run at approximately 20 minute intervals between 09.00 and 23.30 during the summer.

Passengers can enjoy an relaxing journey through the reed beds of the canal which eventually opens out into Feithye Bay If you are lucky you might even catch a glimpse of dolphins at play!
